Enhanced access
GP practices in this area are making it easier for you to make appointments at times which suit you.
Our enhanced access service offer appointments on 1 weekday evening (until 20:00) and Saturdays every week.
If you do need to see someone, we will be able to offer you an appointment at your local ‘hub’ location. They are located at Waterlooville Health Centre.
There, you will be seen by a locally-based healthcare professional. The service is led by GPs but also includes other staff such as nurses, or healthcare assistants. The staff can with your consent access your medical records, ensuring a high quality service.
Please note: the new extended opening hours is not a walk-in service you need to make an appointment. You can make an appointment by talking to our surgery staff and booking a slot in the normal way, or if we are closed and you think you need to see someone more urgently you can call NHS 111 to ask to make an appointment.
For more information, talk to our staff, or see our question and answers.
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
Accessibility
If you have any special needs please let our staff know so that we can help and ensure you get the same support in the future.
Wheelchair access
The practice has been specially designed to make it easier for disabled patients to visit. There are no steps at the entrance of the building giving patients easy access. Due to fire regulations, we do have heavy fire doors, however if you have trouble opening these please ask reception for assistance as they are always happy to help.
There are several dedicated disabled car parking spaces available immediately outside the
front entrance of the practice.
We have a wheelchair for patient’s use, at their own risk, should you require one whilst visiting our premises.
We have a disabled toilet.
Disabled parking, blue badge scheme
The blue badge scheme is for people with severe mobility problems. It allows blue badge holders to park close to where they need to go.
