Please note these prices are intended as a guide only. Some private work maybe complex and take longer to complete than anticipated, and so a higher fee may be incurred. You will be informed at the time of requesting the work if this is the case.
Private work is not provided under the terms of the NHS primary care services contract; a GP may undertake such work, but as this is a private service, it will incur a charge for completion of the patient’s request. Our priority at Waterside Medical Practice is NHS work. Non-NHS work is changed in line with the British Medical Association guidelines, and we aim to review our annual fees in line with the recommendations made.
As a practice policy, all private work fees must be paid before the GP/clinician completes this work. Below is the agreed protocol for private work
