Clinical System Change

Important Announcement – Clinical System Change

TPP SystmOne – Monday 14th of October 2024

Waterside Medical Practice will be transitioning to a new clinical system on Monday 14th of October 2024. This change is part of our ongoing commitment to provide you with the highest quality of care.

Why are we making this change?

  • Improve efficiency: The new system will streamline our process, allowing us to manage your medical records more efficiently.
  • Better patient experience: The new system will enable us to offer more integrated and coordinated care, improving your overall experience with our practice.
  • Enhanced IT structure: This new system has an enhanced IT structure, which should reduce the potential for future IT outages.

What does this mean for you?

  • Temporary Disruptions: There may be some temporary disruptions during the transition period. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause and would appreciate your understanding.
  • Appointment scheduling: You may notice some changes in how appointments are scheduled and managed. Our staff will be available to assist you with any questions or concerns.
  • Access to records: Rest assured, your medical records will remain confidential and secure throughout this process. The online access platform will be paused for a short period before our transition.
  • Prescriptions: Please request your repeat prescription up to two weeks ahead. This will allow our team to process these in good time, avoiding the transition period.

Further updates will follow in due course.

We are confident that this new system will greatly benefit our patients and enhance the quality of care we provide.
