Doctors

  • Dr Richard J Thomas (m) – BM MRCGP DGM DFFP DRCOG Southampton 1993
    Dr Thomas studied medicine at Southampton University qualifying in 1993. He has worked on the south coast since then, doing his GP training in Cosham. He became at partner in the practice in 2000. His areas of interest include prescribing, ENT and cardiology. He has been a GP trainer since 2015 and is a keen cricketer, Welsh rugby supporter and jogger.
  • Dr Jason Greenslade (m) – MBBS, BSc, MRCS , MRCGP
    Dr Greenslade qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1996. He initially trained as a surgeon working in London, Southampton, Salisbury and Winchester before training as a GP in Portsmouth in 2005. Dr Greenslade has a specialist interest in musculoskeletal issues and has worked alongside specialists in an MSK clinic for one session per week for the last 8 years. He trains Southampton medical students in General Practice both at the surgery and at the medical school. He has recently been accredited to become a GP trainer for Dr’s. In his spare time he enjoys getting outside with his family whether on his windsurfer, paddleboard or mountain bike.
  • Dr Laura Bryant (f)
    Dr Laura Bryant qualified from Peninsula Medical School in 2009 and trained as a GP in Portsmouth. She joined the practice as a registrar in 2016 and became a partner in 2018. Her specialist areas of interest are ophthalmology, women’s health and sexual health. She has a lively young family and loves being on the water and playing netball.
  • Dr Helen Harris (f) – BM MRCGP DRCOG DFFP
    Dr Harris qualified from Southampton Medical School in 1999. She did her GP training in Portsmouth and worked at a Practice in Copnor for 10 years. She became a GP Partner at Waterside in 2018. Her specialist area of interest is Women’s health. She enjoys activities with her family, travelling abroad and ice skating.
  • Dr Lynnsey Hamilton – BM (Hons), MRCGP, DRCOG, BSc (Hons), PhD.
    Dr Lynnsey Hamilton qualified from Southampton medical school in 2007. She completed her GP training in the Portsmouth area. She has worked as a salaried GP at Waterside medical practice since qualifying as a GP in 2017 and is part time (Mon- Wed).
    When not at work she enjoys spending time with her young family.
  • Dr Adi Dave (m)
    Dr Dave completed his physiotherapy degree in London in 2010 before completing his medical degree at Masaryk University in Brno in 2016. He has worked at Queen Alexandra Hospital and around the Portsmouth area since qualifying and joined Waterside Medical Practice as a GP registrar in 2021 before starting as a salaried GP at the beginning of 2023. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, going out with friends and family as well as travelling
