Influenza Clinics 2020/2021

Please look out for a member of the Waterside team outside the health centre who will be able to direct you to the correct entrance on arrival for your flu vaccination.

All patients MUST bring their letter to their appointment. This contains your own individual barcode which allows the practice to update your record at rapid speed, allowing all patients to be in and out the building as quick as possible. If you do not bring your letter there will be a delay on the day in you receiving your vaccine.

Please come to your appointment alone unless absolutely necessary. We would ask all patients to not arrive for their appointment excessively early, as this will cause disruption in our queuing system. Our aim is to get patients in and out the building in a quick and efficient way, so we will not be able to deal with any other medical/admin request on this day.

Please make sure you are wearing a facemask or covering, this will help protect us as we help to protect you. We would ask for you to wear suitable clothing to allow easy and quick access to your upper arm of your choice, we would recommend receiving your vaccine in your less dominate arm.

By checking your details on your letter and informing us of any changes will allow us to keep your details up to date, this information means we can contact you easily and inform you of any updates regarding the surgery more efficiently.

This guidance has been put in place by the partners of Waterside Medical practice to allow us to vaccinate our patients from this serious and potentially life threatening infection, in the safest way for all patients and staff involved. We would like to thank you for supporting the practice in the changes we have made due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
